Red Rock Outdoor – Adventure, Confidence, and Lasting Memories
At Red Rock Outdoor, we specialise in creating unforgettable experiences that build confidence, leadership, and resilience. Set above Orcombe Point in Exmouth, our stunning coastal site is just 200 metres from the beach and offers full-board accommodation and a wide range of outdoor activities.
Our mission is to deliver inclusive, high-quality adventures for all, in a safe, supportive and holistic environment. We foster a family feel—where young people can grow, challenge themselves, and make lasting memories.
From May to September, our school residential camps host up to 240 students in self-contained villages of 60, each with panoramic sea views. Every programme is fully customisable, focusing on teamwork, communication, and personal development.
During the school holidays, our Summer Camps offer children the chance to reconnect with nature, make new friends, and enjoy the simple joy of active rest—playing, exploring, and learning through movement and fun in the great outdoors.
We also run Youth Adventure Days and Beach Clubs, perfect for local groups or day visitors looking to try something new.
At Red Rock Outdoor, we believe in the power of play, challenge, and nature to inspire young minds and create experiences they’ll never forget.

Hi Carl,
I just wanted to email to say a HUGE thank you to you and your team for all of the opportunities you have given to our children this year, not just activities week but also the weekly watersports club.
The kids have loved it, even when the weather has been shocking and we really appreciate your ability to adapt when the conditions haven't been perfect!
A huge thanks from us,
Bernie :)

Dear Carl and team at Red rock,
I am writing to express our heartfelt thanks for the incredible beach day your team at Exmouth Watersports organised for our Year 5 and 6 students last week.
Your staff's kindness, patience, and sound judgement were instrumental in ensuring all our children, including those who were initially hesitant about getting into the water, had a fantastic time. Their ability to engage and encourage every child, even those who had never been on a paddleboard before, was truly remarkable. It's not often that we see such enthusiasm and confidence in our students when it comes to water activities, and it's a testament to the dedication and professionalism of your team.
We are already looking forward to collaborating with Exmouth Watersports again next year and would highly recommend your services to other schools seeking a memorable and enriching experience for their students.
Thank you once again for everything.
Warm regards,
Lisa Broad (Deputy Headteacher at St.Peter's CofE Primary School, Budleigh Salterton)

The Estuary Club

The estuary is a great place to learn skills in detail, this is where we can offer windsurfing for our students. We have to work around the tides, our dates are matched to the best times for the tides, it changes daily.
The estuary club offer windsurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking and megasups. We can have a large bias towards windsurfing and this is where we can also offer intermediate and advanced windsurfing courses, encouraging the students to take up the sport for the long term. The estuary is a great resource, please contact us for the best tide times
